The day it all began a very long time ago

A giant salute to mammy-pie and daddy-o for bringing me into this world many years ago today! I have had a lovely birthday filled with baking fun, big surprises in the shape of one Miss Elle and foodtastic times. Just wanted to really say that my peeps are all so sweet and thank you for today and all the rest!

Obsessive musing

So I finally managed to go and get myself a job, a real proper one! but with the much needed money and sanity comes a downside... I can't have pink hair while working in a bank. As a result of this horrendous realisation I have to seriously think about what the hell I'm going to do with my hair. For quite a while now I have dreamt of having Marilyn Monroe bleach blonde hair with candy floss pink highlights. Over the past few months have been trying my hardest to self dye it, but alas my ginger Irish roots seem to want to crush my dreams. I could save to go to the hairdresser but having my mum as a personal hairdresser for years seems to make me dislike the commotion involved in sitting in a salon chair. Last week before starting my other new job I topped up my bad home dye job with the palest blonde I could find yet still no luck. I have had to restrain myself from putting my usual pink in my hair and as a result I am slowly starting to hate my hair. So this leads to what I have seriously been pondering.... will I dye my hair red. This will mean a big bye bye to Pinky which makes me sad but I think with my new job its time to mix things up a bit! I have been cherry red before and I think it will suit me a lot better then this orange blonde I'm suffering with. This one thought is beginning to consume me.

I'm sorry I'm a little late

I don't have proper access to the internet at the moment, as with the rest of my life I'm still mid move. I have so much going on like bills to sort out, interviews to be awesome at and many boxes to still unpack. I was hoping to have something good to post like my pretty new room or nice new dresses but instead its just a list of reasons why I can't. So i should be sorted by next week and be able to post until till then stay classy San Diego.
